Peer Review Workshop for Essay 3 -- Dec. 10, 1997

To receive credit for peer review today, you must show at least three paragraphs or your essay to another student and to me.

Readers should look for the following:

  1. Does the introduction end with an opinionated statement -- how do you know?
  2. Does at least one body paragraph give reasons to support the thesis?  How does the writer develop these reasons -- with examples, logical explanations?
  3. Do the writer's reasons convince you?
  4. Does the writer raise opposing arguments?
