Composition II -- Activities for Week 17 -- May 10-14, 1999

Monday:

Peer Review Workshop over research paper.  Concentrate upon the following:

• Make sure paper is persuasive.
• There should be at least six sources -- three must be periodicals.
• The sources should be used throughout the paper.
• At least two-three paragraphs should try to synthesize the sources.

Wednesday:

• Bibliographies returned.
• Reading reaction for "Story of an Hour" and "Hills Like White Elephants"
• Discuss the short stories.
  • What do they mean?
  • How do I write about fiction?

Friday:

• Research papers due: Turn in final draft and copies of sources.
• Discussion of final exam.
• Come up with questions for the final exam. 
• Homework: Prepare for final exam.  Here's the schedule.
