Birth Day

Sometimes babies come early. Very early. My waters started leaking, so I was admitted to the hospital at around 29 weeks. 5 days later, at 30 weeks, with about 4 hours of labor, I gave birth to our daughter, Parvaneh Zhaleh. She was small, but big for her age, and breathing on her own. My parents came to the hospital right away, but Harold's parents were on a cruise, and we had to find a phone that would dial international numbers to reach them. My dad came with a camera, and he took most of the pictures you see here.
