SHOW YOUR WORK (or give an explanation) on all homework, tests, and the final exam. Procedures and concepts are as important as answers in math.
NO MAKEUPS for homework, tests, or final exam; however, tests may be taken early by prior arrangement, and homework may be turned in to my office or mailbox any time on the due date.
No ABSENCE is excused in the sense that you are exempt from work missed or assignments made while you were absent. It is your responsibility to ask for assignments missed and to ask for extra help from me or from the Math Resource Center. Although homework is not formally required, it is crucial that you keep up with your homework - it is crucial to your success in mastering the subject.
The MATH RESOURCE CENTER (CLB 212) is available for extra
assistance, including free tutoring, group help sessions, solutions
manuals, and computer software.
