Committee and Other Assignments

General Education Learning Outcomes Assessment Committee (GELOAC)

I have served on this committee as a representative of the Science, Health Care, and Mathematics Division since 1992. This committee was charged with the task of developing an outcomes assessment plan which would address general education outcomes in particular, and implement it. The plan has been implemented, and the committee now scores student work samples as part of the assessment program.

Academic Technology Advisory Council (ATAC)

I serve as a faculty representative on this committee that provides advice Computing Support Services concerning the academic technology needs of the college.

Web Design Team

I serve on this college-wide committee, whose purpose is to provide input and direction for the design of the college web site.

Math Contest and Scholarship Committee

I serve on this math department committee which exists to administer the AMATYC mathematics contest three times each year, and to review applications for scholarships which contributors have made available through the math department.

Math Technology Committee

I serve on this math department committee which exists to coordinate the technology needs of the math department, and provide information about available technology to math instructors.

Math Department Webmaster

I am responsible for maintaining the department's presence on the World Wide Web.

Business Math C³ instructor

I am responsible for maintaining final exams, course outlines, textbooks, supplementary materials, and other items for this course, and for providing assistance to other instructors with matters pertaining to this course.
