JCCC VPN Overview
Your home computer/ laptop must be running one of the following operating systems: Microsoft Windows Vista/XP/2000 Mac OS X (Intel) Mac OS X (PowerPC) Linux (Red Hat, Fedora, SuSE, Slackware)
The internet connection at your house or remote location must be broadband, such as DSL or Cable Modem. Dial-up and Satellite connections are not supported.
Connecting to the JCCC network using the AnyConnect VPN Client
1.
Type in the Address field of your web browser:

Enter
your Active Directory username and password.
3.
Select
SSL VPN from the group drop-down list and click Login.
4.
Click Login to continue

Click Continue

To locate the name of your computer at work, right-click "My Computer" and choose properties. Click on the Tab labeled "Computer Name" The Full Computer Name provides the name of your computer. If there is a period at the end of the name disregard it. For example, LIB-RTYRELL1 is the name of the computer listed below:
This is the name you will enter in the Remote Desktop Connection dialogue box:
* If you are running Windows 2000 on your home computer you may need to install the Remote Desktop Client.
